Archaeological excavation, restitution, and reconstruction project for a historic structure within the walls of Anadoluhisarı.
The structure is located within the fortification system of Anadoluhisarı. Prior to the intervention, the site was used as a parking area. In 2025, I led the archaeological excavation that uncovered the building's foundation remains. Based on the exposed foundation traces, archival photographs dating to 1970 and earlier, and historical aerial photographs obtained from the Turkish General Staff archives, I carried out the restitution study. Drawing on these findings, I prepared the reconstruction project for the structure.
