Project Description
"Golden Shell" is a children's recreation and entertainment area design. The outer shell is made with UHPC precast elements created in 3d printed molds, metal o-profile handrail-like structures, wooden frames and colored stained glass. In the interior, there are UHPC-wooden combined benches and small water pools. Dimensions are adjusted for children.
It was designed by inspiring form the golden ratio cells in many living things such as sunflowers, and the structure of the Radiolaria amoeba cell.
Points were placed in coordinates (cos (tn) .tn, sin (tn) .tn) for t₁, t₂, t₃... t₁₉₉, t₂₀₀ values in a certain rectangle and these points were defined as cells.
