Snowflake Sprit

The design represents people growing together and shining forever with their torch-holding hands. This creates the snowflake that refers to the winter Olympics. In this design, not every person is a lonely snowflake; are the parts that create a snowflake. That's the Olympic spirit, I called it the "snowflake spirit".

The design was inspired by the local flower of Gangwon, the doggang pasque-flower; the topographical structure of the Taebaek Mountains and the architectural lines of Gangwon and South Korea. I studied the ornaments of the region and interpreted this medallion by myself.
